#cute #flowers #cupcakes #bakers #crazycakeladies #cake

hello! were the crazycakeladies! these are two of our cupcakes however follow us to see all of our cakes we’ve done so far and hopefully see he cakes we do in the future

These are our cute flower cupcakes
we just made plain sponge cupcakes and then iced them using light pink glace icing.
we then used white fondant icing and used purple food coloring and cut out the big flower. afterwards we used the same white fondant icing and colored it pink to make the smaller flowers that  go on top we used plain white icing to stick the flowers together and then added a white sugar ball on top to finish
hope you try it out - makes a simple cupcake look really cute :)

Niamh’s Birthday Cake- Basic Butter Cake with a Twist

Ingredients

  • 250g butter,softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups (275g) caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups (335g) self raising flour
  • 3/4 cups (180ml) milk
  • Mini bottle of wine (or chosen drink)
  • Ingredients for butter cream icing (shown in the pink cupcakes recipe)
  • Writing icing pens

Method

  1. preheat oven to 180 degrees/ 160 degrees fan- assisted. Grease two round cakes tins that are the same size and line with baking parchment.
  2. Beat butter, extract and sugar in medium bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs on at a time. Stir in sifted flour and milk in two batches.
  3. Spread mixture evenly between the two tins and bake for about 40 mins. Stand the cake for about 5 mins. Then turn the two cakes out onto wire rack and leave until completely cool.
  4.  Now get a round cutter that it slightly bigger than the bottle you want to put in the middle. Cut out the middle of each cake making sure the holes are in the same place.
  5. Make butter cream icing (shown in pink cupcakes recipe) but add coco powered to make it chocolate (plus don’t put pink dye in). Spread half of the butter cream on one cake and the place the other cake on top and spread the remaining icing on the top leaving a little gap around the hole.
  6. Lastly do whatever decoration you want on top of the cake (ours has Taylor Swift lyrics on it), then place the bottle in the middle!

Halloween Cake

We had a lot of ideas for this cake and in the end decided to make a spider cake! We used the same recipe as the cupcakes but put all the mixture in one big tin and one small one tin to create the two tiers. We also left it in the oven a bit longer to ensure it was fully cooked.

To create this look we also bought black and green roll on icing and just rolled it out and covered the bigger tier in green and the small one in black then used black writing icing to draw on the web.

Hope you enjoy our cake (even though it’s a bit late) :)
